He is Risen-The Resurrection of Jesus Christ

He is Risen

He is Risen-resurrection of Jesus Christ

The foundation of the Christian faith is centered around Christ’s birth, death, and resurrection.

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, took the punishment of your sin against God. He died on the cross for all sin, He was placed in a grave, and on the third day, Jesus Christ rose again and lives today seated at the right hand of God.

Triune Nature

The triune nature of God that has existed since before the dawn of time consists of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. One God made of three parts. He is the creator and sustainer of all that is in the universe, this earth, and of you.

Only God Himself, Jesus Christ, can call a person back to life. Jesus rose again to solidify His divinity to the world.

Unworthy

Jesus broke Satan’s hold on our souls. Jesus removed the separation of sin between God and humanity and through Him, we can now stand before God as His children, innocent of the sin we committed. Our sin has been washed away by the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ.

Jesus gave His life for us, so we may have everlasting life in Heaven. We must have faith and believe in God, believe in our savior Jesus Christ. We are a carnal race and by our own sinful nature, no matter how good or bad we think we are, we are not worthy to stand before God. However God created us, God loves us, so He sent His only begotten Son, the only sinless Person, who is 100% Man and 100% God, to be our Sacrificial Lamb to atone for the sins of all humanity.

Christ’s resurrection from the grave provides definitive proof to those whose faith was not secure and would waiver over time, or to those who needed to see the Risen Lord that would solidify their belief in Jesus Christ. The disciples themselves were despondent over the death of Jesus; also, they thought: “How could this happen?” They too needed to know, once and for all the power of God the Son, Jesus Christ

Jesus Broke Satans hold

Because He Loves Us

On the third day, an angel descended from heaven and rolled the stone away from the grave of Jesus’s tomb. Jesus rose from the grave. Our resurrected Savior, our Holy Lamb of God, who sacrificed Himself for us, has overcome death. He has overcome the world. He has also broken the chains of Hell that Satan place on humanity in the Garden of Eden.

Undeniable Proof

Jesus spent 40 more days with us on this Earth. During this time, more than 500 people witnessed seeing Jesus. The proof of His resurrection was and is undeniable.

The Good News!

Jesus gave further instruction and care to His disciples. He gave what we call the “Great Commission.”  The instruction was to go unto the world and tell the Gospel, the “Good News” of Jesus Christ. He also spoke of the Holy Spirit, the One who would be within every believer and guide the faithful, including the disciples, as they travel throughout the known world. “I will not leave you orphans.” said Jesus.

Jesus said His farewell to His disciples and was lifted by angels into the Heavens to take His place seated at the right hand of God.

I am certainly not privy to the plans of God, but I am privy to the love and care Jesus has given me and can be given to you. All you have to do is believe.

Rescues the Lost

A shepherd, who tends 100 sheep and notices one has wandered off, will be worried and concerned for the one sheep. He will leave the 99 who are safe and search for one that is lost. Jesus is our shepherd and His time here on this Earth was to show his lost sheep; The lost people of this world, the way back to the safety and love of God in Heaven.

Just believe in your Savior, Jesus Christ. Just as the Passover Lamb protected the firstborn Hebrew children during the plagues of Egypt during Moses’ day. Jesus, our Passover Lamb is protecting the faithful during the upcoming day of judgment.  The only thing you have to lose is Satans condemnation. Remember (John 3:16)  “…whoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life.”

Have Faith and Believe

Read your Bible daily. Pray about what you’ve read. Feed this information into your soul, and into your heart. Allow Jesus to shine the light of God within you. Darkness cannot exist where the light shines.

Jesus came for you. The Son of God died for you. He saved you from Hell. To be saved, all you have to do is believe in the Risen Son of God, Jesus Christ.

May God bless you and your families during this sacred holiday. Remember Jesus took your punishment for you and the phrase “He is Risen” said by the angel was not meant for just Mary, it was meant for you. Jesus loves you.
