How to Spend Time with God
Time with God, learning how to know Him is our ultimate desire for you. Get to know Him personally. This site is dedicated to all those people who "know of" God but don't have a relationship with God. Reading the bible, dedicated prayer, coupled with the positive activities of a Godly church are just some of the ways a person can spend more time with God.
"But seek first the kingdom of God and all His righteousness and all these things will be added to you." ( Matthew 6:33) NKJV
"So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God" (Romans. 10:17) NKJV
The best way to grow a friendship is to spend time with that person. I don't mean weeks on end nonstop but a few minutes each day just having a chat. The bible is not a book to try to absorb in mass quantities but to be savored in small bites at a time.
Jesus is my friend. I spend a few minutes each day with Him by reading about 15 minutes a day and then talking to God about whatever is on my mind. I don't worry about what I haven't read but what I did read. The bible is a big book but it's meant to be read in small chunks. A few minutes each day builds a strong friendship.
Jesus wants to be closer to you. Get to know Him a little better, He does care a lot more than you realize. Find out how much, just turn the page.
Spending Time with God
How you spend your time with God is totally between you and God. Talking out loud at the kitchen table, or on your tablet in the library, or alone in silence in deep prayer, as long as your spending time with Him that's all He asks. Technology is a big helper. Your laptop, your tablet, your phone, Jesus is available anywhere you need Him. Including in a room with no tech at all. God is in all places at all times waiting for you to invite Him in. Just ask.
The posts that are written are designed to spark interest in the stories in the Bible. Please read each one and open your Bible to receive the complete story. We invite you to leave a comment on what you have read. Agree or disagree or tell us of your view of the Bible passage. This is a Christian site hoping to minister and promote greater knowledge of the Bible so we may glorify God. Only comments of a civil nature will be posted, so please use appropriate restraint.
I pray that God will bless you richly while you learn about Jesus and all He represents. Knowledge is key to an informed Christian mind. "...Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." (Matthew 10:16) AMEN.

Was Paul a Compassionate Radical?

A Radical Christian? Paul was an enthusiastic, compassionate, radical – I think. He received his calling directly from Jesus Himself. Jesus brought Paul into Christianity and instantly transformed his heart into a radical Christian. A zealous, loving, evangelist for Christ. (Acts Chapter 9) Saul, as he was known before his…
